I loved it!
I think Annemarie is like me because she has hope.
My favorite part was in the last chapter when Annemarie's parents tell her about Lise and reveal the truth to her.
If my mom fell badly and broke her ankle, than told me to face the soldiers to save a plan, I would do it, but I would be TERRIFIED!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI loved the book! I don't know how Annemarie is like me. She is willing to stand up for what is right, I think i would do that. My favorite character is the little sister. (we have already returned the book, I don't remember her name). If my mom told me to go to the soldiers I would go, but I would be SCARED. I would do it because I would know she is counting on me.
I didn't like it as much as the Giver, but The Giver is hard to beat.
